TwitterCritic is a new service that compiles movie reviews from Twitter users.
The service from UK based Craig Merchant automatically pulls movie reviews based on a list of movies in the system, so it doesn’t pull every movie review, only ones Merchant points the site at. As well as listing the relevant tweets, the system also categorizes the review into positive or negative based on words with the tweet, or gives it no rating when none of the conditions are met.
It’s a bare bone setup, and obviously reliant on Twitter actually being up long enough for people to post movie reviews, but if you’re looking for what people are saying about a film prior to heading out it’s worth a look.
