While there are many issues related to Black Friday 2014 that are still being debated, retailers have added more LED TVs into the competition frenzy as it gets closer to the big sales. Black Friday has been controversial as the 2014 holiday shopping season begins because some shoppers do not think that employees should have to work during the holidays and Money Talk News reports some states have banned early Black Friday sales.

Twitter users show their Black Friday 2014 LED TV humor.

However, in the week before Thanksgiving starts, there are new guides that include lists of where to get the best LED TVs such as the Black Friday deals not to buy . Other detailed articles about what major retailers have planned for LED TVs for this year’s sales include Consumer Reports’ guide, ‘Top 5 Black Friday TV Deals under $500.’ Their main LED TV pick was a tie for first place.

“Yes, we’re starting off with a tie for what we think might be the best TV deals this season, mainly because the two sets seem comparable and are only $1 apart in price. We already reported that Best Buy will have a 50-inch Panasonic 1080p LED/LCD TV (TC-50A400U) for only $200. But Amazon has countered with a 50-inch Toshiba 1080p LED/LCD set for $199. There’s little info about this set right now, but we expect to hear more soon. Panasonic and Toshiba LCD TVs have done well in our Ratings, but neither brand has scored especially well in terms of sound.”

Also touting the Panasonic 50″ 1080p LED LCD HDTV for $199.99 Best Buy deal is The Huffington Post . In their review of the best 2014 Black Friday deals so far, the Huffington Post says:

“If you want to make a statement, offering a brand-name HDTV as your show-stealing doorbuster is a heck of a way to do it. This Panasonic 50” set comes in at an astonishing $99 below our Black Friday prediction for the 46″ to 47″ class TVs. In fact, this deal will be tied as the best price we’ve seen for any 50″ HDTV by about $100 — including refurbs. (We’ve only seen a 50″ TV drop this low once before, on Thanksgiving last year.) Best of all, this price outshines the leaked Black Friday prices for every other TV in this size range, including Target’s incredible $235 48″ set . The only drawback to this doorbuster is that you’ll have to go to the store to grab it.”

Once the advertising began at Target, Walmart stepped up and Consumer Reports stated that they would price match several competitor ads during Black Friday. Deal Hub has been creating its own list of hot deals for Black Friday at Walmart and stated that this includes LED TVs. Outside of Walmart, Deal Hub highlights the $79 Element 32″ LED TV from Amazon.

Regardless, the United States is not the only place that is now celebrating Black Friday with LED TV sales. The Telegraph UK printed a story about the origins of Black Friday, and discussed how Black Friday has moved to the U.K. over the past few years because of online sales that are available for purchase anywhere in the world.

In technical terms, the best Black Friday deals list for LED TVs or other merchandise comes from WalletHub . Their professional analysis for the 2014 season says their best picks for the biggest discounts overall in merchandise are JC Penney, Macy’s, Rite Aid, Meijer, and Sears. For consumer electronics like LED TVs, Macy’s, Staples, Radio Shack, Office Depot/Office Max, and Kohl’s are your best choices for deep discounts.
