Tiger Woods’ restaurant, Woods Jupiter, opened last night, but without Tiger Woods in attendance. The Palm Beach Post is reporting that Woods has been in and out of the restaurant all week, checking on various aspects of the process, but he left before the doors opened last night at 5 p.m.
As previously reported in the Inquisitr , the restaurant has been a long time in the making, with two other dates that came and went for an opening. But last night, the doors of Woods Jupiter pulled back the velvet rope and let the 70 fans waiting into the restaurant/sports bar to sample the fare.

Palm Beach Post was on-site when Woods Jupiter, located at Harbourside Place in Jupiter, Florida, opened its doors to the public after much anticipation. Tiger Woods, who lives in the community of Jupiter Island Estates, was not at the opening, because he is on his way to the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits , the “Irish Links-style course” in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The Palm Beach Post believes that Tiger Woods will be present for several grand opening parties “around the start of football season.”
Local CBS affiliate, channel 12 in West Palm Beach, was also on-site for the opening of Tiger Woods’ fine dining-meets-sports bar.They said that the cuisine is “new American cuisine,” and that there is a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio dining.
As reported in the Inquisitr , Tiger Woods had a vision of the restaurant as a neighborhood meeting place .
“I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal,” Woods said in a statement. “I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community.”

As the restaurant is located on the water in Jupiter, Florida, there is a variety of seafood offerings from lobster, crab cakes, and tuna to daily fresh fish. For meat lovers, there are steaks, chops, lamb, and more. Rather than the Buffalo wings and chicken fingers found in other sports bars, Tiger Woods offering cheese plates and charcuterie. There are some sandwiches on the menu, but even they are kicked up to a more gourmet level.

Certainly, Tiger Woods and Woods Jupiter will need some time to work out the kinks, but there seems to be a great deal of curiosity from fans and locals, eager to get a peek at the celebrity restaurant in this upscale community.
