There are some people who can’t stand to be without their iPhones . They feel the need to have it handy to check weather updates, Twitter feeds, Facebook posts, and other things over the internet.

True, the iPhone is extremely useful to it’s user as an electronic, mulitask device. However, now that the TaskOne case gives your iPhone the function of a Swiss Army knife, it will become even more useful.

According to Gizmag , the 3.1-ounce (89-g) TaskOne case from TaskLab is an innovative case that rivals an actual multi-tool. It is an extremely portable, pocket-sized toolbox that offers 16 seperate tools.

The TaskOne case’s 2.5-inch (6.4-cm) knife includes both serrated and fine edges, and the opposite side has a 1.8-inch (4.6-cm) wood saw.

The handy case also features six metric Allen wrenches, small and large flathead screwdrivers, medium Phillips screwdriver, and pliers with an integrated multi-size wrench.

Other tools built into the case include wire cutters, a wire stripper, a ruler and spoke wrenches.

There is also a bottle opener and kickstand.

According to iMore.com , Former Apple engineer Addison Shelton is the creator behind the TaskOne case.

Shelton said:

“I utilized advanced materials and manufacturing to create a slim multi-tool case that can stand up to heavy use, keep your phone safe and be so slim it adds little more bulk than other common cases.”

The case can be used in any situation requiring a multi-tool. The case’s tools are robust and always stored in the phone case for near instant access.

Sliders on the back of the phone make for easy access to the tools, and integrated spring and detents assemblies lock the tools in place both when in use and during storage.

TaskLab is hoping to get the TaskOne case shipped out and ready for consumers by April. You can pre-order the case starting at $90.

The TaskOne case is compatible with iPhone 4, 4S and 5 models.
