The ‘Real’ Jesus Christ Was Never Crucified – A Small Japanese Village Has His Tomb

The Holy Father was captured by the Romans and crucified. We all know the story. However, a small Japanese town strongly refutes the version, and claims to have the tomb of Jesus Christ on its land.

The tiny village of Shingo in Japan’s Aomori Prefecture is relatively well known for its picturesque cattle ranches and the delectable yams it produces. However, according to one cosmoarcheologist, the village is also home to the supposed Tomb of Jesus Christ, reports io9 .

As per the regional apocryphal religious writings known as the Takenouchi Documents, it wasn’t Jesus who ended up on the cross on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The writings claim the body that was crucified on that bloody Golgotha belonged to Jesus Christ’s younger brother, Isukiri. The scriptures state that after being captured by the Romans, Jesus managed to give the Roman guards the slip by switching places with his younger brother.

Jesus Christ escaped the clutches of the Roman Empire, but chose to take with him only a lock of the Virgin Mary’s hair and one other rather macabre object. It is said that Jesus Christ took with him one of his brother’s ears. Jesus traveled far and eventually reached Japan, claims the Takenouchi Documents.

After settling down in Shingo, Jesus is said to have married a beautiful local girl, who bore him three children. The scripture even chronicles the life of Jesus. They say Jesus lived a very normal life, much unlike the one he was accorded back in Jerusalem, where he was revered as a God who could easily perform unbelievable tasks and miracles.

But in Shingo, Jesus lived in his humble home as an ordinary man and died peacefully shortly after his 106th birthday. He wasn’t suffering from an illness, but died of natural causes, confirms the documents. While many strongly believe Jesus Christ secretly married Mary Magdalene and fathered two children, this version says the three children Christ fathered continued his lineage. It is said Jesus Christ’s progeny still thrives in the tiny village of Shingo, Japan.

Of course, these seemingly outlandish documents , which were allegedly found in 1936, were quite conveniently obliterated during the upheaval commonly referred to as World War II, reported Slate . Skeptics believe the Takenouchi Documents were penned by cosmoarcheologist Wado Kosaka, who gained fame by attempting to contact aliens on live television.

Despite the dodgy credibility , a reproduction of the documents is on display at the nearby Jesus museum, and many believers point to variations in speech, custom, and even eye color in the villagers of Shingo as evidence of Jesus’ Anglo-Christian influence among the people.

As for the Tomb of Jesus Christ, it still sits atop a hill. Apparently it is an actual burial mound with a large cross sticking out of the top. Next to it, another nearly identical mound is said to hold Isukiri’s ear and the Virgin Mary’s lock of hair.
