Taylor Lautner and Billie Lourd have reportedly called it quits. The former Scream Queen co-stars were first romantically linked in late 2016 after appearing on the Fox television series together. They had been dating for about eight months at the time of the break up.
Taylor Lautner and Billie Lourd seemed to be doing well, and the Twilight actor was there for the actress when tragedy struck her family back in December when Billie’s mother, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, and her grandmother, Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds, both died one day apart. Taylor was said to be a source of comfort for Billie during the difficult time, and Lourd’s uncle, Todd Fisher, gushed over Lautner being a shoulder for his niece to lean on throughout the tough time.
People Magazine reports that despite their alleged split, Taylor Lautner and Billie Lourd are still friends. Billie is said to be focused on her work at the moment, as she is currently filming Season 7 of American Horror Story . Although her casting has been confirmed, details about her role in the anthology series have not been. Billie, who previously worked with the show’s creator Ryan Murphy on Scream Queens, will be involved in the election-themed season of the show, but her role is being kept under wraps along with most every other details of AHS Season 7 .
What fans do know is that Lourd will be joining cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Colton Haynes, Alison Pill, Billy Eichner, Adina Porter, and Cheyenne Jackson for American Horror Story Season 7. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Vera Farmiga is also rumored to be joining the cast.
The official timing of Taylor and Billie’s split is uncertain, but the two have been very quiet regarding one another on social media since the end of May. The final post came from Lautner, who posted a photo of himself and Lourd cozying up together on May 24. The actor captioned the photo “Feelin’ lucky every day,” using the hashtag #beyondblessed and claiming that Billie was his #wcw or woman crush Wednesday.
