Newlywed Stacy Keibler confirmed her pregnancy today.
The former WWE diva and George Clooney gal-pal got married in a surprise ceremony on March 8 on the beach in Mexico while on vacation with family.
This will be the first child for both Stacy Keibler, 34, and new hubby Jared Pobre, 39. In announcing that she was expecting, Keibler today posted a picture of an actual bun in the oven on Instagram with an accompanying tweet that stated “look what we’ve got cooking!”
Keibler and Pobre have known each other for a long time, but apparently just became an item last fall.
In providing confirmation that they’re having a baby, the couple told People that “More blessings!! We’re an elated family-to-be!”
About the news, tech entrepreneur Pobre said “I’m extremely excited about starting a family and building a future with Stacy.”
Around the time of her nuptials, Keibler said that she was eager to start a family. She added that “Both Jared and I didn’t think that we were ever going to get married or have kids … When you meet the right person, everything changes. I’m so excited for the new chapter in my life…. I’m so ready for it. I feel for the first time like I’m really fulfilled and at peace.”
After splitting from Clooney, however, she said last summer about marriage and kids, “I’m I think a little bit different than most women out there. I don’t really think about that right now.”
Mom-to-be Stacy Keibler, a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader and model, finished in third place in season two of Dancing with the Stars and has appeared on several television sitcoms and dramas as well as hosting Supermarket Superstars on the Lifetime network.
According to reports today, actress Mila Kunis is pregnant with Ashton Kutcher’s baby, but the couple who have been dating for two years have yet to marry.
