Stacy Keibler had her baby! The actress and television host and her husband, Jared Pobre, welcomed baby Ava Grace on Wednesday, August 20. Keibler posted a blog on her website titled “ Graced ,” where she made the official announcement. This is the first child for the 34-year-old, who started dating Pobre soon after her split from actor George Clooney. The two announced their engagement not long after that — and Keibler was married and with child almost in a blink. And now the two are enjoying this exciting new time in their lives… as parents.
“Jared and I have been blessed with the new love of our lives. Ava Grace was born at home on Wednesday. We’ve never experienced a level of joy and happiness like this before! Thank you so much for all of the special wishes and positive energy.”
Stacy Keibler has not revealed a photo of her baby girl yet, but she likely will share the first picture of Ava Grace in the coming weeks.
According to Us Weekly , Keibler was very excited to become a mother. Back in June, she was feted at a baby shower, complete with rubber duckies and plenty of pink!
“Ahead of her daughter’s arrival, Keibler was the guest of honor at a baby shower at her Beverly Hills home on June 7. Some of the details included hors d’oeuvre platters with ‘It’s A Girl’ written on them and large rubber duckies floating around her pool.”
Of course, this baby news comes just weeks before Keibler’s ex is set to tie the knot. As previously reported by The Inquisitr , George Clooney and his fiance, Amal Alamuddin, are planning to get married in Italy in September . It is widely speculated that Keibler and Clooney split because he wouldn’t marry her and she wanted to have a life as a wife and a mother. While Keibler clearly got what she wished for, Clooney shocked the world with engagement news. Despite all of the women he has dated, there was something really special about Alamuddin that made Clooney into the marrying type, perhaps hanging up his bachelor-suit for good.
Stacy Keilber is happy with her baby and her husband now anyway, and likely isn’t thinking twice about what went wrong with George, or why she wasn’t the one for him. They say that everything happens for a reason, and it is clear that baby Ava Grace Pobre was Stacy’s destiny.
