Sofia Vergara is looking mighty sexy for Machete Kills , so long as machine gun bras are your thing.
Robert Rodriguez’ intentionally over-the-top pulp sequel to 2010’s Machete features a lot of ladies in deadly lingerie, and Colombian bombshell Sofia Vergara is no exception to the rule .
In a fresh character poster for Machete Kills, Vergara is seen wearing what appears to be a chain-mail bustier with armored breasts, each with tiny chain guns where the … *ahem* … nipples should be.
The Modern Family star plays a character named “Madame Desdemona,” and other than that (and the machine gun bra), we won’t know much else about her until Machete Kills comes out in September.
So far, Vergara is the third female actress in Machete Kills to get a highly stylizes sex-meets-violence character poster.
Lady Gaga recently announced her role in the film on Twitter. The singer plays “La Chameleon,” and her character poster shows her a silenced smoking handgun, thigh-high stockings, and a scarf made out of a wolf’s fur.
Robert Rodriguez alum and Spy Kids star Alexa Vega is playing “KillJoy,” and released racy photos of herself in a sexy, metallic costume on Instagram.
The synopsis for Machete Kills is as follows:
“Danny Trejo returns as the Mexican anti-hero, Machete, in this follow-up from Robert Rodriguez. Mel Gibson joins returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba as a maniacal arms dealer intent to start a nuclear war in this 20th Century Fox release.”
The film stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demián Bichir, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler, Marko Zaror and Mel Gibson. It will see theatrical release on September 13, 2013.
