Selena Gomez is the latest celebrity on a growing-by-the-second lineup of stars ranting and raving over Taylor Swift’s new album 1989 , which officially dropped today but leaked Friday.
The 22-year-old “Come and Get It” songstress, who recently revealed she has been close friends with Taylor for seven years, didn’t hold back on the plaudits for her pal, who is now No. 1 on iTunes in over 88 countries.
Alongside an collage of photos of Taylor and herself out and about over the years, Selena wrote, “From hotel room album listening parties, kitchen dance floor album listening parties to driving on the pch, windows down album listening parties.”
The starlet continued, “The best part is we were the only ones there. Each time. So happy, honored and proud to know you and your diaries. @taylorswift #1989 BUY IT!!! -now I’ll listen live from drowning in my bed sheets.”
Clearly chuffed with the actress-singer’s endorsement, Swift replied, writing,
“This post made my day. I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to have friends like this.” Taylor included the link to Selena’s Instagram compliment.

Before we unwrap you a truckload of other celebrity endorsements Taylor received, earlier on Monday the “All You Had To Do Was Stay” star was named New York City’s welcome ambassador on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Swift has also been chosen to headline Ryan Seacrest’s 2015 “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
