Saudi Arabian Prince Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud was arrested on Wednesday at his rented Beverly Hills estate by the LAPD for an alleged sex crime, says the L.A. Times .

Police officials responded to a “disturbance” reported by a caretaker at the luxurious compound located in a gated community on Wallingford Drive. After the LAPD detained Al-Saud for “hours,” they arrested the 28-year old Saudi prince on suspicion of “forced oral copulation.”

Al-Saud is accused of forcing a household worker to perform oral sex.

Tennyson Collins, a neighbor of the Saudi prince, reported a “bleeding woman screaming for help” trying to climb an 8-foot wall, according to the L.A. Times . Tennyson Collins did not see the woman, but did talk to an unnamed resident who described the scene to him.

Prince Al-Saud was released on a $300,000 bail this Thursday afternoon.

Prince Al-Saud will not receive diplomatic immunity in this case, said LAPD Captain Tina Nieto to the L.A. Times .

He has been instructed to appear at court on October 19.

The Beverly Hills property, where Al-Saud was arrested, is over 22,000-square-foot and valued at $37 million by real estate site Zillow. The property has been rented by numerous foreign nationals at “weeks at a time,” Collins told the L.A. Times .

“Obviously neighbors aren’t happy about it, but it is what it is,” said Collins.

U.S. State Department officials have yet to comment on the case, says the L.A. Times .

The Saudi prince is not to be confused with a different Saudi prince also named Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud who died in 2003.

This post will be updated as details emerge.

UPDATE: The L.A. Times is reporting that Prince Al-Saud is now being investigated for sexually abusing other women. Other victims have reported to detectives that they were sexually assaulted by Al-Saud, LAPD Officer Drake Madison told the L.A. Times .
