Some two months after welcoming their second child into the world, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have finally revealed the name of their baby boy.
People magazine reports that Gellar and Prinze, who met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer and have been married 10 years, welcomed their son in September and named the boy Rocky James.
A source said of the birth at the time:
“Sarah was secretly hoping for a boy. She realizes this will most likely be the last baby she has, so she’s so happy she’ll have the experience of raising one of each.”
US Weekly points out that although the couple haven’t explained the reasoning behind the unique name just yet, James is dad Freddie’s middle name.
Rocky is the second child for Gellar and Prinze, who have been married since 2002 and are parents to the adorable, and now big sister, 3-year-old Charlotte Grace.
Gellar, best known for her role on the 90s television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer , most recently starred as the main character in The CW thriller series Ringer .
The show, which got the axe in May 2012, told the story of a troubled young woman on the run who hides out by living the life of her wealthy twin sister until she learns her sibling’s life has a bounty on it as well.
As for Prinze, Jr., the now father-of-two made a couple of guest appearances in TV shows Psych and 24 in 2010 but spends most of his time working for World Wrestling Entertainment as a producer and director.
