Samuel L. Jackson is a legend. There is no denying that. His latest performance in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight is absolutely on par with the quality he always puts into his characters on the big screen. According to IGN , Tarantino asked Samuel L. Jackson what was his favorite part of the script, and Jackson replied that it was learning about what happened to the characters .

“Well actually, my [favorite] part is when I’m just figuring out what happened to everybody, and I turn into Hercule Negro.”

Apparently, Samuel L. Jackson needs to turn into Hercule Negro to deal with Donald Trump and his golf club. Golf Digest reports that Jackson spoke with Rhapsody , the magazine of United Airlines, and spoke of how he got a bill for a gold club membership from Trump’s golf club , even though he didn’t sign up as a member.

“Last week or so, I actually got a bill from Trump National Golf Club. And I haven’t been there in four or five years, so I had my assistant call. They said it was for membership dues. And I said, ‘I’m not a member,’ and they said, ‘Yeah, you are – you have a member number.’ Apparently he’d made me a member of one of his golf clubs, and I didn’t even know it!”

Samuel L. Jackson also said he was the better golfer. He said Trump cheated on the course, and Trump didn’t take too kindly to the accusation. Trump posted a response on Twitter, stating he’s never played golf with Jackson and doesn’t even know him.

I don’t know @SamuelLJackson , to best of my knowledge haven’t played golf w/him & think he does too many TV commercials—boring. Not a fan.

Anthony Anderson was the first to respond to the tweet .

“C’mon @realDonaldTrump you played Golf with @SamuelLJackson and me as well. we also had lunch together! shrimp and hot dogs. sound familiar?”

Yahoo! News reported that Samuel L. Jackson also responded to Trump’s tweet by posting the bill he received , along with his comment on the situation.

“A bill from the guy that doesn’t know me & never golfed with me! I’m gonna Block his a** too!”

Apparently, the post was later removed because it had Jackson’s home address on it. However, there have been other accusations of Trump cheating at golf in the past, including from the likes of Alice Cooper and Mark Mulvoy (previously editor of Sports Illustrated ).

Samuel L. Jackson is still out there having fun, despite his issues with Trump. He was a guest on Late Night With Stephen Colbert on Monday night to discuss the new movie. Time reported that Jackson also took the time to dramatically recite lines from famous movies. It seems Samuel L. Jackson could play any part he wants and play it well.

Perhaps the best moment on Monday night was when Samuel L. Jackson recorded an outgoing voicemail message on air. Entertainment Weekly reports that Colbert initially handed Jackson a basic prompt from which to read, but Jackson used his charm and wit to do what came naturally.

“Hi. You know who you called. Leave a message. Maybe he’ll call you back. Then again, maybe he won’t. That’s how life is. Point is, you’ve done what you can. Have a nice day.”
