For most MMA fans, the one MMA fighter that symbolizes what it means to have a star-studded career that is almost near-perfect is Ronda Rousey. The UFC women’s bantamweight champion is undefeated with an 11-0 record, holds the fastest win in a championship match when she beat Cat Zingano in 14 seconds , is the face of the promotion , and even made one of the most memorable “ Wrestlemania Moments ” at Wrestlemania 31 along with Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock), Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon.
Along with her illustrious career in UFC, Ronda Rousey is also known for acting. As of now, Rousey has three film credits to her name, two of them being action films ( The Expendables 3 , Furious 7 ). However, the third film, Entourage, truly does something for Rousey the other two did not: it shows that she is a real actress.
Ronda Rousey got to hang out with the rest of the stars in attendance at the premier of Entourage in Los Angeles on Monday night, June 1, 2015. As shown from photos provided by Daily Mail , it seems as if Rousey had a fun time hanging out with Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, and Jeremy Piven, the principal cast of the HBO TV series loosely based on Mark Wahlberg’s experiences as an up-and-coming film star.
Unfortunately for Entourage , the movie was panned by critics. However, there was one silver lining detailed by Fox Sports . Compared to her other films, Ronda Rousey really had to show her acting chops. Unlike action that requires following sequence, comedy requires timing. Ergo, many actors claim comedy is the hardest form of acting there is. Given this fact, Rousey — though still trying to find her footing in acting — was on point with her delivery. The comedic lines, as well as her fling with Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), do not look forced.
