Rihanna stole the spotlight at Wednesday night’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York.
Wearing a stunning black corset gown that was cut to the thigh to show off her suspenders, the 24-year-old singer strutted her stuff on the catwalk as she serenaded some of the world’s top models.
In addition to her new hit song “Diamonds,” RiRi also sang “Fresh Off The Runway,” the first track off her forthcoming seventh studio album, Unapologetic .
“#LEGITmodelSh*t I’m a #VS (Victoria’s Secret) girl now lol,” Rihanna posted on Twitter after the show.
Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars also appeared at the show alongside A-list Angels Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima.
For his first song, Bieber showed his sensitive side as he sat alone with his guitarist and sang an acoustic version of “Beauty and the Beat.”
For “As Long As You Love Me,” however, the 18-year-old heartthrob was back to his usual shenanigans, bringing in backup dancers as he interacted with the models while moving around a giant makeshift pinball machine.
“It’s like a dream come true,” said Bieber on the pink carpet before the show. “I would rather be here than anywhere in the world.”
The Victoria’s Secret show featuring Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars will be aired on the CBS network on December 4; last year it was the number-one TV show for adults aged 18 to 49 years old.
