Princess Diana’s death is being investigated by British police. Again.

The announcement came on Saturday as new allegations surfaced that all is not as it appeared when the Princess was killed in a tunnel in Paris in 1997.

The British media and the Associated Press reported that Scotland Yard, the British Metropolitan police service, is looking into the “relevance and credibility” of the new claims related to Diana and her companion, Dodi al-Fayed’s tragic death.

Scotland Yard issued a statement saying the investigation into the new claims will be carried on by officers from its specialists crime and operations unit.

According to a report by the British channel Sky News, Diana, al-Fayed, and their driver were not killed in a car crash, but by a British sniper.

In 2008, a jury ruled that the three were “unlawfully killed” due to the reckless pursuit of the paparazzi and the reckless driving of their chauffeur, Henri Paul.

Princess Diana’s death has been the subject of endless speculation and conspiracy theories, which have been denied by the Palace.

One such theories was brought forth by al-Fayed’s father, Mohammed, who has argued that the couple was actually murdered by the British who disapproved of the relationship.

Investigations into such accusations have concluded that the reason for the crash that killed Princess Diana and Dodi al-Fayed was that their driver had been drinking and was driving too fast.

Moreover, the investigations into the accident concluded that Diana was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, which contributed to her death.

The new information came to Scotland Yard, from the Royal Military Police, who in turn received the information from the in-laws of a former soldier.

Buckingham Palace press officials who represent Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, have no comment.

Do you think these new accusations will prove that Princess Diana’s accident was not an accident?
