Pauly D can now add diaper changing to his GTL routine. The former Jersey Shore cast member and resident DJ in Las Vegas has become a first time dad, welcoming a baby girl into the world.
The 33-year-old, full name Paul DelVecchio, says he is “very excited” to become a dad and “has always wanted kids.”
According to E! Pauly D “didn’t have a relationship” with his baby mama before the pregnancy but he is hoping to “develop a relationship” with her now that they have a child. If nothing else an insider says Pauly D is ready to be a good dad and take on all the responsibilities that come with that title.
While the birth is just now being reported, the child was actually born a few months ago.
Pauly D doesn’t have children of his own but in 2012 when Snooki was pregnant with baby Lorenzo, Pauly D told People , “I want to be Uncle Pauly…And I want to be a part of that baby’s life, because Snooki is one of my best friends now, and I’d love to be with her when she’s delivering the baby, and I’d love to babysit.”
So what big fathering advice is Pauly D going to pass on to his kids? The reality TV star says he will teach his kids to deejay. We assume they will also be a GTL household giving his constant endorsement of the lifestyle.
Regardless of diaper changing duties, a big congratulations to Pauly D on the arrival of his first bundle of joy.Joking about his view on changing diapers Pauly D adds, “I don’t know so much… Maybe I’ll give [the baby] back to her for that.”
Sorry Pauly D but skipping diaper changing duty is a lot harder to avoid when you are playing daddy and not just uncle to Snooki’s baby.
