Paulina Gretzky welcomed her baby boy into the world with husband Dustin Johnson on Monday morning, making legendary hockey player Wayne Gretzky officially a grandfather.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Gretzky announced she was having a child on Instagram, already months into the pregnancy.
The 26-year-old model is keeping the baby’s name a secret.
Paulina posted a photo of the new family member on Instagram.

“Happiest day of our entire lives was welcoming our sweet baby boy into the world.”
Dustin Johnson, eight-time winner of the PGA tour, told Entertainment Weekly the following.
“Paulina and I are happy to announce the arrival of our baby boy, who was born in Los Angeles on Monday morning.”
He added, “we sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received and plan to release further details in the coming days.”
The happy moment comes after a number of scandals and speculation surrounding Johnson.
Johnson has reportedly been dealing with what he referred to as “personal issues” during a six-month hiatus. According to Golf.com , he failed three drug tests because of cocaine use.
The golf pro insisted that cocaine isn’t his problem.
“I did not have a problem. It’s just something I’m not going to get into. I have issues. But that’s not the issue.”
He later revealed his problem was excessive drinking and partying.
During the holiday season, Dustin Johnson finally started to look like he was ready to welcome the baby boy into the family. In another interview with Golf.com , Johnson described his absence along with the details of his personal demons.
“Over these past four or five months I’ve really grown up, and I am starting to become the person I want my kids to look up to.”
He said that he was suffering from anxiety problems, which drove his substance abuse issues.
“My way of getting rid of it was drinking or partying. Yeah, that might work for that day or the next week, but eventually everything keeps piling up.”
With a baby boy on the way, Johnson cleaned up his act fast and found new outlets for his anxiety, like skiing and fishing.
As for the Paulina, she’s kept a low profile during her pregnancy, occasionally appearing on Instagram to give updates on her baby boy.
Still, Gretzky is keen on maintaining her model image. As the Daily Mail reported, her makeup was perfectly done in the picture of her welcoming her new baby boy.
