Nick Jonas posted an epic response on Twitter for those fans who realized he had something stuck in his teeth during his Grammy performance with The Jonas Brothers .
The topic of something in Nick’s teeth, which quickly trended on the social media site, prompted him to own up to the gaffe.
“So honored to have been back on the Grammy stage tonight,” he wrote in the first of two tweets.
His second tweet mentioned the noticeable morsel of food in his mouth that was clearly visible throughout his performance.

Fans quickly picked up on the moment and turned it into a viral trend.
“Nick Jonas had food in his teeth during his performance and I think Joe and Kevin purposely didn’t tell him as payback for breaking up the band years ago,” joked one fan, bringing up what they believed was the hilarious reason why no one told Nick that he had something stuck in his teeth before performing for the Grammy audience.
“I’m jealous of whatever is stuck in Nick Jonas’ teeth,” quipped a second fan of the band, who made their triumphant return to the Grammy stage after ten years.
“Me, yup! It happens. Also…it’s the Grammy’s. One should check their teeth prior to a worldwide performance,” stated a third fan of the gaffe.
The brothers’ performance of their new song “What’s a Man Gotta Do” continues to push forward the newest music from the family band that is comprised of brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas. The group dropped a new video for the tune on January 17, which co-starred their wives Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner, and Priyanka Chopra .
The video focused on three movies that were favorites in the 1970s and 1980s, including Grease , Risky Business , and Say Anything . The brothers and their spouses paid homage to the flicks while performing the new tune.
The fun video switches gears for the brothers, playing into their romantic relationships with their wives and featuring the women in prominent roles as their love interests.
For Nick and Priyanka’s portion of the video, they recreated out the iconic scene in Risky Business where Tom Cruise dons a white men’s shirt and no pants, sliding across the living room floor of his parent’s house in socks as a way to signal his independence at being home alone for the first time.
Joe and Sophie took on the roles of Grease ‘s Sandy and Danny, portrayed in the film by Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta when they Hand-Jived their way into the hearts of television viewers on a local dance show in a memorable scene from the film.
Finally, for Kevin and Danielle’s portion of the video, the couple played out the romantic clip from the John Cusack film Say Anything when a young man tries to woo a young woman by holding a boom box over his head and playing a romantic song.
