Nick Gordon’s engagement ring necklace has come to light just days before Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral. While some believe it is possible Gordon was responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death, Nick’s mother claims he has been devastated by her passing.
In a related report by the Inquisitr , it is rumored that Nick Gordon is on suicide watch and he allegedly believes that if Bobbi Kristina “had heard his voice, things would have been different. She may have lived.” Friends close to Gordon say he is inconsolable right now.
“Nick is very upset. You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much, and is devastated that she is gone.”
Whitney Houston’s daughter died while surrounded by other members of the family, but Bobbi Kristina’s “husband” was never allowed to visit once. This is why Nick Gordon’s engagement ring is so conspicuous, since officially the family denies the two were ever married in the first place.
Years ago, Whitney Houston informally adopted Gordon, and both Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon once called each other brother and sister. This relationship status apparently changed to girlfriend and boyfriend and by January of 2014, the two announced they were married. This announcement did not sit well with the family, and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Patricia Houston, obtained a restraining order against Gordon. Bobbi Kristina Brown’s father, Bobby Brown , also officially declared they were never married in a press statement.
“To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.”
How Nick Gordon’s engagement ring necklace came to be is also a mystery. Earlier reports suggested that the supposedly married couple were estranged, so it is possible Bobbi Kristina gave the engagement ring back to Gordon before her untimely demise.
In any case, the engagement ring was spotted when Nick was walking the neighborhood with his mother, Michelle Gordon . Nick was also wearing a marriage band on his left hand, which may indicate how he feels about the situation.
Mrs. Gordon also told Entertainment Weekly that her family was devastated by Bobbi Kristina’s death.
“The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart,” Michelle Gordon said in the statement. “Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”
