Miranda Simms has been at odds with Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer for the last several months. Before filming began on the MTV reality series’ sixth season, Miranda Simms’ husband, Corey, filed for full custody of his twin girls with Messer, 5-year-olds Ali and Aleeah, and ever since, they’ve been at war over claims that Messer is an “unfit” parent.
Although Miranda Simms tends to stay pretty silent on the show, only sharing her opinion when asked, social media is a different story, and on August 9, Miranda Simms shared a couple of re-tweets, which may have been aimed at Messer.
Maturity has to do with the experiences you’ve had, not how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.

Miranda Simms and her husband have been attempting to gain more time with Ali and Aleeah, but so far, they have been somewhat unsuccessful, only gaining the rights for more drop offs for the girls. Meanwhile, on the show, Miranda Simms’ husband continues to put his foot down when it comes to Messer’s reportedly bad parenting decisions.

Among the claims made against Messer by Miranda Simms’ husband were allegations of fighting and oversleeping. During episodes of the show, Corey has alleged Messer and her then-husband, Jeremy Calvert, fought so badly that his twins were forced to take cover in a laundry room. He’s also said Aleeah has cooked her own breakfast as Messer failed to get out of bed.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Miranda Simms kept to herself during the season in regard to drama with Messer, but when it came time to film the Teen Mom 2 reunion, it was reportedly a much different story. Below is what an insider revealed to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup at the time.
“[Miranda Simms] is fed up with Leah’s lies and inability to take responsibility for her poor parenting choices. Despite what you see on TV, Leah and Miranda have not gotten along for years. Leah’s entire family hates Miranda. They blame her for severing the decent coparenting relationship that Corey and Leah had, but really there were many reasons that they stopped getting along, not just because of Miranda.”
