Mila Kunis has been announced as the new face of the Kentucky bourbon company Jim Beam. She’s also picked up a few new tricks to go along with her new position.

According to a promotional video released on YouTube earlier this week, Kunis is welcomed into the Jim Beam family with a tour through the “Jim Beam American Stillhouse Distillery.” Fred Noe, a “7th Generation Beam Master Distiller,” shows Kunis around as she offers her thoughts on the history of the family owned operation.

“I love the fact that there is so much genuine history behind this,” Kunis says in the video. “I think it makes it so special.”

The video begins before Mila arrives, with Noe providing a brief look into backstory behind Jim Beam and the distillery:

“We’ve been doing this since 1795,” Noe says. “I’m kind of excited to introduce Mila to what we do in Kentucky.”

After Kunis arrives, Noe walks her in and around the grounds, providing her – and us – with insight into the past including family stories of sipping Kentucky bourbon with his father. He then proceeds to introduce Mila to one of the family rack houses where dozens of barrels of their famous Jim Beam bourbon reside. Kunis’ response? “It’s stunning.”

Noe even shows Mila how to actually crack open one of the bourbon barrels so the two can sample the tasty spirit inside.

He next brings Kunis inside the distillery itself where the two can sample even more bourbon. But before he does, Noe introduces Mila to a tradition called the “Kentucky Chew.”

“What you want to do is put the bourbon in your mouth and chew on it,” Noe says. “Because different parts of your mouth pick up different flavors.”

A successful swig later and Kunis has only one way to describe her successful tour. “I really like Kentucky,” Kunis boasts as the sun sets on the video.

The timing of the spokesmanship announcement might seem a bit odd considering the 70s Show stars is currently dealing with pregnancy rumors that have surfaced in recent days. However, according to a report by The Daily News , Kunis was selected for her love of bourbon, not for the tabloid headlines she generates after her high profile relationship with former co-star Ashton Kutcher went public.

“Kunis joins a roster of carefully selected celebrities recruited by alcohol and spirits companies to represent their brands,” the article reads. “But also to convey a certain lifestyle.”
