Maria Menounos is returning to WWE to face off against the Total Divas at SummerSlam’s pre-show this weekend.
The actress and entertainment show host will return to the ring, teaming up with Natalya to wrestle the Bella Twins at the Fan Axxess event outside Staples Center ahead of the WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event this Sunday, reports the LA Times .
Menounos has made several appearances with the WWE, and is a lifelong fan of the pro-wrestling organization. She made her debut back in 2009 when she teamed up with Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim against Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox.
The in 2011, she teamed up with Eve Torres, Kelly and Fox to defeat the Bella Twins, Natalya and Phoenix. Her most recent match saw her teaming up with Kelly again to defeat Phoenix and Torres at Wrestlemania XXVIII in 2012.
Fan Axxess will be an all-day event hosted outside of Staples Center in Los Angeles live on Saturday and Sunday.
The time of her match has not been announced.
Interestingly, the match-up has started a bit of a Twitter feud between Maria Menounos and the Bella Twins. It all started when partner Natayla shot Menounos a simple, promotional tweet:
If @nicoleandbri are so tough, Maybe they would like to tango with myself and @mariamenounos if Nikki is cleared. A #TotalDiva has spoken!

But then Nikki of the Bella Twins was apparently not cleared for the match, so Natalya started to talk a little smack.

Of course, they weren’t going to take that lying down:
