Liv Tyler gave birth to her second child, a beautiful baby boy, on Wednesday. The newborn was delivered a full six weeks early but has been said to be healthy yet will remain in hospital for “an undisclosed amount of time,” as Gossip Cop confirms.
Tyler’s rep shared news of the birth with People Magazine, stating, “He’s healthy and everyone is very happy.” However, a name could not be revealed as one has yet to be given to the baby boy by Liv and boyfriend, sports manager/agent David Gardner. The new little arrival is the first for the couple and the family also includes Tyler’s 10-year-old son Milo, from her previous marriage as well as Gardner’s 7-year-old son Gray, from a prior marriage.
Confirmation of the pregnancy came back in September and the couple has since been quite creative in capturing Liv’s pregnancy in humorous and touching ways. As Gossip Cop reminds, “the actress’ Halloween costume consisted of wearing a fake oven with a bun inside of it,” and only a few weeks later Tyler had her friend, Girls star Jemima Kirke, paint a portrait of her bare baby bump.
While pregnant the 37-year-old had sweet sentiments to share about the experience. People relayed Liv’s words.
“The most fun thing about being pregnant is having those mom hormones flowing around. You’re more present in your body, and it’s making me a better mother for Milo.”
Rocker grandpa Steven Tyler reportedly sent his well-wishes to the entire family and is excited to be welcoming another little one. Yet all this happiness has been preceded by non-factual claims that Liv was “getting too close” to Jennifer Aniston’s beau Justin Theroux after starring together in “The Leftovers.” Tyler was also falsely linked to Orlando Bloom recently. Those falsities have been put to rest and the couple appears to be even stronger.
Hollywood Life recently shared words of a source close to the couple confirming that all is good with the pair.
“They get on very well and are really enjoying spending time together. He flies to New York mostly to see her and they feel very comfortable together.”
Since the birth, there have been a number of well wishes go out over social media, including a sweet shout-out from Liv’s good friend Kate Hudson via Instagram.
