Lindsey Vonn wore scarlet and channeled Angelina Jole at the ESPY Awards. Olympic skiier Lindsey, also famed as Tiger Woods’ ex gal pal, flaunted her fabulously fit figure. But Vonn made it clear that she’s not holding grudges against Tiger, reported Us Weekly .
At 30, Lindsey has learned to move on since ending her relationship with the 39-year-old golfer. She was poised and polished on the red carpet as well as on stage.
“I’ve texted him a little bit, but we haven’t been in touch too much,” she revealed. “He seems like he’s doing well.”
In addition, Lindsey shared that she plans to watch Tiger play in the British Open.
“Yeah, I definitely want to [see him play]. I hope he does well, and I’ll be watching.”
Vonn wrote about the breakup in May. The two had been together for three years, meeting in 2012.
“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Woods and Elin Nordegren ended their marriage in 2010. They have two children, 6-year-old Charlie and 8-year-old Sam.
For Lindsey, the ESPY Awards presented an opportunity for the skier to show that she’s mended her broken heart. Vonn didn’t hesitate as she whirled and posed in her scarlet gown , reported the Daily Mail .
The Olympic skier did more than make a red carpet appearance. She also presented the Best Breakthrough Athlete Award to 14-year-old Little League pitcher Mo’ne Davis.
In addition, Lindsey was the only woman nominated in the Best Comeback Athlete category. She also was among those nominated for Best Female Athlete against MMA fighter Ronda Rousey, tennis star Serena Williams, and basketball standout Breanna Stewart.
In addition to Vonn’s stunning scarlet gown, Britney Spears wowed at the ESPY Awards in a sparkling silver mini dress, as the Inquisitr reported.
While Lindsey went with the elegance of a floor-length gown in bright scarlet, Britney stunned them in that mini with showgirl-style fringe.
