Lindsay Lohan’s dad isn’t happy that his daughter has taken a trip to Brazil.
Michael Lohan doesn’t approve of the actress’ decision to take a trip to South America after getting in trouble with the law once again. He posted an open letter to her booking agent online.
Lindsay Lohan’s dad wrote:
“I am telling you now if you are with Lindsay in Rio or you booked it, and anything happens to my daughter, I am holding you personally responsible. Judging from what has happened to in the past, and the way she looks down there from the pictures in the media, it’s not a good thing. If you have anything to do with her being there, its on you. Count on it.”
The Liz & Dick star was reportedly paid $100,000 to help promote a clothing line in Brazil. After her appearance at a red carpet event, the Lohan took a trip to a nightclub in Sao Paulo.
Lindsay was spotted hiding under a table in order to avoid taking pictures with some of her fans at the club. Photographs soon surfaced of Lohan sitting under a DJ booth.
Since Lindsay Lohan’s dad feels that his daughter’s team is responsible for the incident, he decided to issue her handlers an open letter. Lindsay Lohan or her representatives have yet to respond to the matter.
Michael Lohan said during an interview with Female First that he was concerned about Lindsay’s well-being. He believes she could die within a year if she doesn’t get her life in order.
“I hate to refer to Amy Winehouse, but she was so talented and wouldn’t listen either, then she passed away,” Lohan’s dad explained. “I don’t want that to happen to my daughter. Lohan turns 27 in July. How many other kids have died at that age of overdoses? It’s a fear that sticks in my head. I’m always sitting by my phone.”
