Liam Payne has decided to relieve his soul, and admitted to the world that his boys from One Direction always choose a rather bad moment to make a quick run to the toilet during their gigs. They can’t help it when they need to go!
The lads usually use the time in the middle of the show to nip to the toilet, just when the Liam is trying to make a speech to the huge crowd of fans.
“It’s always in the middle of my speech,” 21-year-old singer said.
Payne admits that chatting with such huge audience of One Direction fans and lovers can be quite exhausting and overwhelming at times.
Liam said, “The thing for me is, how do we know how to do this? Most people would struggle to do a best man’s speech at a wedding, and we’ve got three speeches to make in the middle of the show to 80,000 people.”
Liam Payne is very well aware of how far the boys have come. He still remembers the small crowds that gathered at their concerts — especially their first concert in Glasgow.
“There were about 800 people there,” Payne recalls. “The vibe was huge! We were all too young to be in a club, except for Louis (Tomlinson)!”
Through the years, One Direction became famous. Their fame has been growing at an astonishing rate, and their fan base is probably one of the biggest in the world. That speaks for itself; fans have been ready to go to extremes to get closer to the group. According to Now Magazine , Liam Payne revealed what some fans were prepared to do to gain access during their US tour.
“A girl hid in a bin so she could try to sneak in the back entrance of where we were performing,” Liam said in 2013. “But she got caught. It didn’t work out too well for her.”
The singer admits that the boys don’t get overwhelmed with attention in public if they are out on their own.
“You can go places,” he told Celebs On Sunday . “I went to Westfield yesterday with my mates. The time it gets really out of control is when you’re all going to be in the same place at the same time, because it can create a crowd.”
“The rest of the time when we’re on our own, it’s easier,” Liam Payne concluded.
