The NBA star and “Sorry” singer had a conflicting schedule for April 26 and battled for the right to keep the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland to themselves that night.
But it appears that Bieber defeated LeBron James in this battle without actually doing anything. The “What Do You Mean?” singer’s performance will go as planned, making his enormous fandom happy.
It’s thanks to the fact that LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Pistons in the fourth game instead of the scheduled five games. It was previously reported that Bieber’s Purpose world tour was scheduled the same night as Game 5 in the Cavaliers versus Pistons battle.
Ever since then, both LeBron James’ Cavaliers team and Bieber’s management were negotiating to work out a plan that would satisfy the two sides. It was even reported that Bieber’s show could be delayed to a later date.
But it looks like the world will never find out who is more important today, LeBron James or Justin Bieber, as the scheduling crisis has been resolved thanks to James’ NBA team.
In other news, even though LeBron James hasn’t officially confirmed nor denied his participation at the Rio Olympics this summer, Nike is already preparing sneakers for the NBA star , according to Cleveland.com .

Nike has presented a patriotic United States version of LeBron James’ Nike LeBron 13 sneakers. As seen from the photo posted by Nike via their Twitter account, the exclusive sneakers feature blue, red and white colors, with scattered stars.

The presentation of LeBron James’ new sneaker comes shortly after Nike unveiled a number of Olympic-themed shoes, including nostalgic shoes from the days of Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley.
It’s as yet unclear when LeBron James’ LeBron 13 Low sneakers will go on sale.
LeBron James will try his hand at acting, according to the Hollywood Reporter . Fast & Furious ‘ Justin Lin, Bad Words writer Andrew Dodge and Alfredo Botello are penning the script for the follow-up film of 1996’s Space Jam starring Michael Jordan.

It’s been 20 years since Space Jam ‘s release, and what better candidate to play Michael Jordan’s part than LeBron James himself? The film will be titled Space Jam 2 , and Lin also has plans to direct and produce the upcoming movie.
According to sources familiar with the project, Lin is also set to be intimately involved in the creative development of the film starring LeBron James.
It’s not the first time LeBron James is going to appear in front of the camera as an actor, as the NBA star recently made a cameo appearance in Amy Schumer’s comedy titled Trainwreck .
It should be noted that rumors of a follow-up movie to the 1996 original film starring Jordan had been circulating for several years before LeBron James signed a deal with Warner Bros along with his rep company SpringHill Entertainment last summer.
It’s not that LeBron James will play some serious drama role, since Space Jam is an animation film made for kids. In the original 1996 film, Michael Jordan teamed up with a group of Looney Tunes characters to defeat aliens threatening their freedom in a basketball game. And now it’s time for James to show off his basketball skills onscreen.
Lin is currently working with Dodge on other projects, so Space Jam 2 starring LeBron James will be one of their future works. Dodge is also busy penning a TV drama for HBO, which is being produced by Lin and The Avengers star Jeremy Renner. Dodge is best known for his script for 2013’s Bad Words starring Jason Bateman.
