LeAnn Rimes’ lawsuit against school teacher Kim Smiley now allegedly includes damaging testimony uttered by one of the singer’s former online friends. An individual who claims to have been close with the star during the heart of the Twitter drama with Smiley has come forward, according to Radar Online .
The lawsuit maintains that Smiley taped a phone conversation with the singer without her permission, the recording was later shared online. The secret witness reportedly claims that Rimes told some of her Twitter followers to post negative tweets to users of the social network who were pro-Brandi Glanville.
A Radar Online source had this to say about the witness and pending lawsuit:
“LeAnn texted the witness a lot and those texts could play a big role in this suit. LeAnn would text her fans word-for-word texts of what to tweet to Brandi or her detractors. They were wild accusations.”
Another source maintains the singer explicitly instructed her social networking website followers not to enter into harassing antics with her foes for several months before Rimes decided to go into rehab for stress and anxiety issues.
Accusations that the singing star was obsessed with Brandi Glanville continue to emerge from sources who claim to have spoken with the secret witness who plans to testify in the Kim Smiley lawsuit hearing.
Rimes’ representative, Marcel Pariseau, had this to say about the situation which prompted a rehab stay:
“While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms.”
Pariseau also stated her boss is a victim of cyber-bullying. Smiley was allegedly blocked by the country music singer after the school teacher tweeted opinions with which were not favorable to the star.
