Lea Michele was youthfully exuberant, overflowing with dreams and talent, when she achieved overnight fame as the breakout star on Glee . And when she and co-star Cory Monteith replicated their on-screen romance with an off-screen love affair, it seemed like she had a perfect life. But with Cory’s tragic death, Lea’s young world crumbled. Now she’s sending a message to the world that she’s accepted her loss and regained her passion for life by posting a clever shadow photo of herself and new boyfriend Matthew Paetz on Instagram, revealed E! News .
Now 28, Lea has revealed that she loves to hike and be outdoors. And the shadow silhouette reflected that outdoorsy side of her life in displaying Paetz and Michele on an outside adventure. The caption shared her feelings about Matthew and her future.
“To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides,” wrote Lea.
Michele talked with Ellen DeGeneres about what she learned from Cory’s death, as shown in the video.
But as evidenced by the silhouetted couple, Lea believes that she’s found a new love with whom to share her life, and that Matthew represents her future.
Lea Michele also posted other photos of the two hiking in Los Angeles and included selfies of her fashionista favorites, matching black leggings and a white tank top, MTV pointed out.
The Glee actress and Paetz met when he was featured in her music video for “On My Way.” They began dating after the video wrapped production.
“He treats her really well, he’s smart and fun,” said an insider. “She’s really happy.”
In addition to their shared love of hiking, Lea and Matthew have been spending time together just doing casual errands. They enjoyed a vacation in Capri, Italy.
But their romance became permanent when Paetz moved into Michele’s home in Hollywood, revealed a source.
“It just made sense for them to move in cause they spend so much time with one another. He treats her like a queen.”
As the Inquisitr noted, Lea Michele has not forgotten Cory. She acknowledged the first anniversary of his passing via Twitter.
“We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always.”

Monteith’s father Joe expressed his best wishes for Lea’s future happiness.
“She’s a beautiful young woman. She should enjoy life. She had a good time when she was with Cory, from what I understand, but life’s gotta go on.”
