Khloe Kardashian wants the holidays to be happy after weeks of supporting estranged husband Lamar Odom as he fights his way to recovery after being found unconscious from a drug overdose in a Nevada brothel. At the same time, Khloe has been trying to keep her relationship with boyfriend James Harden strong. Add in promoting her new book and keeping up with momager Kris Jenner’s requirements for their Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV show, and it’s not surprising that Khloe feels stressed.
To ease all that stress, Kardashian has decided to take a little vacation for herself, according to Hollywood Life .
The 31-year-old reality TV star feels that even a weekend would help.
“[Khloe] needs a vacation. The reason she is snapping about having work done is because she is taking aggravations out that she has for other things,” an insider told Hollywood Life . “Caring for Lamar, trying to get James back in her world and just living her life has been a nonstop whirlwind… She is mentally and emotionally drained… so she is going to try to sneak away for a weekend for herself.”
But can Kardashian manage it while still maintaining the production schedule required for Keeping Up with the Kardashians and supporting Lamar? And was Khloe herself involved in what Radar Online describes as the secret sneaking of cameras into Odom’s hospital room to film Keeping Up with the Kardashians ?
Reportedly against the regulations, some of the Kardashian family took cameras undercover into the Los Angeles medical center where Lamar is being treated.
“The family filmed with their crew this morning in Cedars Sinai,” a source revealed to Radar . “They used hand held cameras and wires and just went for it.”
But did Odom know that he was being filmed? Another insider shared with Radar that some felt regret that Lamar apparently had complied with the Kardashian filming.
“It’s so sad he is doing this,” the source added.
But in terms of an official contract stipulating that Odom will film with Khloe and the Kardashian family for their reality TV show, Radar’s second insider also noted that Lamar has not “signed up” for Keeping Up with the Kardashians .
“But that doesn’t matter to them!” added that insider.
As the Inquisitr reported, Khloe remains legally married to Lamar and has been paying his skyrocketing medical bills. Odom recently turned 36, celebrating in the hospital with Kardashian by his side. Since she’s called off the divorce for now, some are wondering if she’ll even reunite with Lamar permanently.
Khloe has revealed that Odom is doing better in terms of his health , reported Us Weekly .
“He’s definitely doing better which is awesome, every day is better,” said Kardashian. “He’s off of all machines. He is alive on his own, and no machines are helping him, which is great. But he still has a lot of physical and cognitive therapy to go through, so it’s a long road for him.”
Lamar had to have two surgeries, both described as emergencies, in October, and he is still being treated with the hope of recovering fully. But Khloe admits Odom has a long road ahead.
“It’s gonna be a long long time, every day is different. Some days he’s really strong and some days he’s weaker than the day before. He will try to learn to how to walk so that is first. When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own, or at least with an assistance, with like a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening,” added Kardashian.
As for reuniting with Lamar and reaffirming their marriage vows? For now, Khloe says she’s keeping up her romance with boyfriend James Harden while still giving Lamar a different kind of love, reported E! News .
“My biggest wish is for [Odom] to be happy. I still have a great deal of love for him,” she explained.
Meanwhile, James has remained committed to Kardashian, although the paparazzi pressure has been somewhat disconcerting for Harden, added Khloe.
“Instead of just being known for his talent, he’s now known for being someone’s boyfriend,” said Kardashian of her boyfriend.
