Kelly Osbourne is engaged to boyfriend Matthew Mosshart after what they tried to keep as a secret proposal.
The couple had been dating for more than a year when Mosshart popped the question just before Christmas, a source close to the couple told Us Weekly . Kelly Osbourne and her fiance are said to be ecstatic together and preparing for a wedding.
“Kelly is the happiest she’s ever been,” a friend of Kelly Osbourne said of her engagement. “Her career is going well, and she’s in a healthy relationship with a wonderful guy.”
The 29-year-old Kelly Osbourne, a Fashion Police co-host, met Mosshart at the wedding of Kate Moss in July 2011, UPI reported. They were first seen together in public in December of that year, spotted spending time together and kissing on the streets of New York.
“I’m in love and I don’t care who knows about it!” Osbourne tweeted last June.
In the last few months, Kelly Osbourne was making news not for her relationship but rather her weight loss . The fashion designer and television personality said after struggling with her weight for years (including problems with drugs and alcohol), she turned her life around after a stint on Dancing with the Stars.
Osbourne lost 20 pounds on the show, then went on to lose another 30 pounds through diet and exercise.
“People think I lost weight and then got happy, but that’s not how it works. You have to get happy first,” Osbourne told In Touch magazine.
With Kelly Osbourne engaged, the entire Osbourne family will be married off. Jack Osbourne and fiance Lisa Stelly were married in 2012.
