Kelly Clarkson has been on a roll lately, covering songs from numerous artist like Taylor Swift and Nick Jonas and covering them pretty well. This time, Clarkson decided to take on Miley Cyrus’ 2013 hit “Wrecking Ball” during her concert on Thursday night, and she turned the tough pop song into a soulful version.
In the beginning of the video, Clarkson tells the audience, “I actually love this song. This is by Miley Cyrus, and this is called “Wrecking Ball.”
Kelly Clarkson has taken on other popular hits like “Bye Bye Bye” from ‘N Sync, “Stay” by Rhianna, “Jealous” by Nick Jonas, and “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift. Swift was so impressed by Clarkson’s cover that she took to Twitter to express her amazement on the difference of her song.

In a recent Inquisitr story, Clarkson said that she has been trying to collaborate with different artists and most of the time is told no.
“I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no. I’m not kidding you. I have legitimately asked several people that I’m not going to call out, and that’s cool, but I don’t know.”
Clarkson has also been making headlines after standing up to Britian’s Katie Hopkins who shamed her on Twitter.
“Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she ear all of her backing singers? Happily I have a wide-screen.”
But Clarkson did not let Hopkins’ mean-spirited tweet get to her, and she responded in a tasteful and classy way, according to Us Magazine .
“I’m awesome! It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people think. It’s more if I’m happy and confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family, I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”
