Kate Bosworth made a huge announcement, accidentally or otherwise, on a recent blog post chronicling her summer vacation last week. Namely, that she is engaged to be married.
“On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish , and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace. As soon as we enter, it is like magically being transported to a different world—this awe-inspiring, sprawling place was originally built in 1405. We explore ancient towers, pavilions, and the beautiful “secret gardens,” and the feeling is serene, peaceful, and ancient,” says Bosworth in Vogue’s Summer Travel Diaries, Part One.
Wait, what ? Bosworth is engaged and just nonchalantly threw that in there?
Though she accidentally let something so major slip on a blog post about her recent trip o South Korea, it may surprise some readers that Bosworth has actually been seeing Michael Polish, a film director, since meeting him on the set of Big Sur , a film due out later this year. They were spotted indulging in much PDA at a Coldplay concert in August 2011, confirming their couple-hood to anyone who may have been paying attention.
Prior to shacking up with Polish, the 29-year-old Bosworth was linked with actor Alexander Skarsgard. The couple dated for nearly two years before finally calling it quits in 2011, reports MSN. A few months later, Bosworth met Polish, and the rest is history.
This latest development was a near-miss for us folks in the media. The blog post on Vogue is dated August 1st. It is August 8th as of this posting.
