Justin Bieber was stopped for speeding while on his way to the MTV VMAs tonight. The singer must have been running just a bit late and didn’t want to miss out on anything. TMZ shared that police stopped Bieber on the way and speeding wasn’t the only thing that he got in trouble for when he encountered police in Beverly Hills. Bieber was driving himself to the show instead of having a driver take him. This is not the first run in that Justin Bieber has had with the cops, but at least this time Justin didn’t end up behind bars.
A cop in Beverly Hills pulled Justin over, but of course backup rushed right over there as well. A total of four police cars were seen at the traffic stop. It has not been revealed if there was an a reason that this many police officers showed up for this stop. Video shows them all lined up behind Bieber’s car along the side of the road. The singer was on a residential street driving his new Ferrari when he was caught going 25 mph over the speed limit. Beiber was actually cited for unsafe passing on the right and an equipment violation for window tint. If Justin doesn’t change the tint on his windows, then he could end up getting another ticket for that in the future.
Tonight is the big MTV Video Music Awards that will be hosted by Miley Cyrus, but of course Justin Bieber is also scheduled to attend. They can be seen live on MTV or Hollywood Life also shared that you can watch the awards on live stream . Justin is set to perform during the show tonight. Bieber’s new music video for “What Do You mean” will air tonight on MTV at the end of the show. Make sure that you set the DVR to record over if you do not want to miss this brand new video from Bieber. He will also be performing the song live for the first time since releasing it. There has been a huge lead up to the video so Bieber had better really impress the fans tonight. They have been waiting on this video for weeks.
