The new big celebrity couple is singer Josh Groban and 2 Broke Girls star Kat Dennings. Groban and Dennings went public with their relationship earlier this week at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills on Saturday. They appeared together on the carpet looking extremely happy together, and unable to keep their hands off each other. Groban especially seems to be quite infatuated with the sitcom star Kat Dennings, and his permanent smile in all the press photos proves it.
Groban spoke to E! Online about Kat Dennings and how much he cares about her, claiming he’s extremely lucky to have someone like Kat.
“I do have such a lovely date tonight. I’m very lucky my girlfriend has joined me tonight,” Groban said about Dennings. “It’s her first time hearing me sing. So I’m going to do some extra warmups tonight so I don’t suck.”
It might be hard for Groban’s fans to believe Kat hasn’t heard him sing yet, but Josh went on to explain that unofficial singing doesn’t count.
“I mean, just kind of like, we joke sing all the time, you know, we just, we harmonize on the radio, but no I haven’t really done, it always seems like a cheesy move on my part,” said Groban. “I don’t really sing for [Kat]. like, ‘hey you want to hear me sing?’ So it’s nice that we can both come out and support and then also as an added bonus I get to sing for her also.”
It’s good to know Josh and Kat are getting along, at least for the start of their relationship. No word yet from Kat Dennings about how madly in love she is with Josh Groban, but a source told Us that Kat and Josh are “having a lot of fun.”
Josh and Kat also confirmed their relationship via Instragram. Kat Dennings posted a picture of the new couple on her personal account with the caption “I ship it.”
