This week on The Bachelor 2016 , everyone saw that JoJo Fletcher’s ex-boyfriend tried to win her back. JoJo turned him down and said that wasn’t what she wanted, but it turns out that Ben Higgins thought JoJo was about to dump him when it all went down. People shared about how Ben really thought JoJo was done with him when he walked in and could tell that she had been crying.

JoJo Fletcher had not been quiet about this ex-boyfriend and that he was important in her life. Ben knew about him before the letter showed up. When Higgins wrote his blog this week, he shared about thinking JoJo Fletcher was done and leaving the show.
“JoJo and I had talked a lot about her ex-boyfriend so it was not a huge shock to hear that he had tried to win her back. But walking in there and seeing her crying and talking about him sending her roses and the letter and the phone conversation along with knowing all their history together, I was absolutely sure she was about to break up with me and get back with him.”
JoJo Fletcher is someone that Ben Higgins didn’t want to walk away from him though. He shared that she means a lot to him and he was terrified of her leaving at that point. JoJo did make it through to the final three girls on the show.

Heavy shared details about who JoJo Fletcher’s ex-boyfriend is and some great information on him. JoJo used to date Chad Rookstool and he is the one who tried to win her back. JoJo’s ex is a salon owner in Dallas, Texas, where she is from and where Ben went for her hometown date. He does celebrity haircuts, including Pauly Shore’s, and has done hair for several runway shows. It sounds like Chad has done very well for himself in his career.
JoJo and Chad may be done, but she actually trusted him with someone very important to her while she was on the show. Chad is the one that was taking care of JoJo’s dog during the time that she was gone. So if she makes it to the end or not, JoJo Fletcher had to get together with Chad the second she got back so she could get her dog and bring it back home.
JoJo Fletcher isn’t the only one interested in reality television. According to OK Here Is The Situation, Rookstool was reported to previously be in the running to be on Bravo’s reality show Dallas Most Eligible, but this show ended up being canceled. They both seem to think that reality television is a great way to find love. Chad Rookstool hasn’t been on a show yet, but now his name is making headlines and you never know.
It does sound like JoJo Fletcher and Chad Rookstool split not long before she was on the show. Now it will be interesting to see how things work out in the end. If JoJo doesn’t win the heart of Ben Higgins, then she might decide to reconsider her decision not to take Chad back and give him another chance. If not, JoJo could end up on Bachelor in Paradise trying to find love once again.
