Jessica Lange horrified American Horror Story viewers when they learned that she would not participate in AHS: Hotel . But for those considering checking out alternative shows if Jessica checks out of that fictional Hotel , there’s some good news, reported MSN .
Lange may not be forever gone from American Horror Story , according to Ryan Murphy, who created the popular show. Although Ryan is aware that Jessica’s upcoming commitments include the comedy Wild Oats with Shirley MacLaine and Demi Moore and a Broadway revival of Long Day’s Journey Into Night , Murphy indicated that Lange does want to return to American Horror Story .
Whether you remember Jessica from Murder House , Asylum , or Freak Show , you might agree with Ryan’s assessment that what helps to make the show so exciting is that sometimes a character must depart before you fully realize what they gave to AHS .
Murphy told Entertainment Weekly that Lange’s return to American Horror Story revolves around when she can be available.
“I’m trying to deal with her play schedule. Jessica is always about the character. She’ll be back—she’s not gone forever. But that’s the fun and fresh thing about the show: sometimes somebody has to go away before you realize how much you miss them. She wants to come back we just have to come up with something.”
Whether or when Lange returns to American Horror Story , it is confirmed that Lady Gaga is checking into AHS: Hotel , reported Us Weekly .

“Her character is the hotel owner and the mother of 10 identical vampires who are 8 years old,” revealed a source. “They’re played by children and are very creepy!”
However, Murphy doesn’t use the stereotypical vampire in creating his characters.
“I prefer the term ‘ancient blood virus.’ It’s not vampires. It’s really a form of hemophilia in a way. There’s no capes and fangs.”
Ryan also shared that Lady Gaga’s hotel owner character is named Elizabeth. She’s extremely wealthy and obsessed with high society subjects such as fashion, art, and people.
“She has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode,” hinted Murphy.
The insider also shared that Lady Gaga was charming to everyone involved with AHS .
“After the first day of shooting, Gaga went out of her way to meet and chat with everyone,” added the source. “She was really awesome and couldn’t have been nicer.”
