Is Jennifer Lopez heading to Las Vegas? This particular rumor has been out for months, but nothing has been concrete. Now, according to TMZ , it looks like her Vegas residency could be coming up.
According to the site , Lopez passed the Vegas test by performing at Caesars Palace on New Year’s Eve. She raked in an estimated $410,000 for her performance, which was sold out. The venue earned $600k from the gig, which isn’t a ton, but it’s enough to open up discussions for Lopez’s Las Vegas residency.
According to TMZ , sources say that Caesars Palace was happy about the amount of money Jennifer raked in for the venue, even though Britney Spears, who has a residency, pulls in $475k a show.

News of Lopez’s residency started to swirl back in October. As the Inquisitr reported, Lopez is set to make $26 million for her Las Vegas gig. It would extend to 72 shows within a two-year period, which is more money than what Britney Spears signed for.
Currently, Lopez is a bit busy with her gig on American Idol . The season premiered this week, which features J.Lo along with Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. as judges.

During one audition, Lopez was asked by contestant Michael Simeon to dance with him after he made it into the Hollywood round. After the contestant got his ticket, Lopez slow danced with him as he serenaded her to Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” The triple threat alluded that she was on the market after the dance ended.
“I’m a great girlfriend. And wife. Just picked the wrong f***ing guys,” said Lopez.
As he left the room, Connick Jr. laughed it up and joked with Michael, “On a business note, my manager’s outside – that’s going to be $700,000.”
On the dating tip, Lopez recently gave some advice out to the blossoming pop star Meghan Trainer.
The “All About That Bass” singer told Entertainment Tonight about her encounter with Lopez.
“I was starstuck the whole time. It was the first one, like, ‘This is epic. I told her that ‘Selena,’ her movie, was the reason I wanted to be a singer and then I asked her a bunch of questions. I was like, ‘How do you have boyfriends in this industry?’
“She just said, ‘Be very picky.’”
