Jennifer Lawrence the star of “Hunger Games” and Kristen Stewart the star of “Twilight” seem to be fighting. This conflict is reportedly about Jennifer’s boyfriend, “Warm Bodies” star Nicholas Hoult, who will co-star in “Equals” with Kristen Stewart. However, both Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart deny there to be any conflict between them.
The film industry seems to be purposely pitting these two against each other . In fact, earlier rumors had spread the Jennifer Lawrence was considered for the role in “Equals”, but the director Drake Doremus said that, “Jen and I worked together before and she was fantastic. It’s exciting to talk about the character with different people, but it became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry.”
It is also evident that “The Hunger Games” and “The Twilight Saga” are being heavily compared. Once The Hunger Games went big and as Jennifer Lawrence gained a lot of publicity Twilight slowly started to fade into the background.
Fortunately, the two still did not have a feud at this time. In fact, when “Hunger Games” and “Twilight” were being heavily compared Lawrence sent Stewart a email joking about the controversy about which one was better.
Both of them have been emailing back and forth since 2012. Both of them seem to understand how the movie business works and that this rivalry is mostly a publicity stunt.
Lawrence told Access Hollywood that, “I wrote her an email because there was this huge, like, article about a Twilight and Hunger Games feud. And we’ve never met before and never spoken. I just shot her an email, and was like, ‘Hey, can’t wait to see more as this feud unfolds!’”
There were rumours that after Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult were to be acting partners that Hoult and Lawrence broke up but they were dismissed.
Most of these rumors are just rumors and Kristen was even reportedly cheering for Jennifer Lawrence when Lawrence was announced as the best actress for a recent award ceremony:

Also, it seems that they might even be good friends. They were seen to be hanging out together with Emma Watson after the Toronto Film Festival. Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart went to the Soho House for an after party.
Soho House Group founder Nick Jones told Mail Online that, “They’re just three girls having a quiet chat after a long day and an even longer night working.”
