Janet Jackson is set to make her return to the live stage after a four-year hiatus, and fans are lining up to snatch up tickets. The secondary market for the tickets has already crossed the $200 mark , with some tickets selling as high as $250.

It has been a little more than four years since Janet Jackson enthralled her audience with live performances. However, following a large and consistent push by her fans on various social media platforms to get her on stage, Janet Jackson delighted them by revealing her touring plans and some new music as well.

Jackson has a total of 36 dates scheduled for the North American leg of her Unbreakable World Tour in support of her upcoming album, Unbreakable . She will initiate her three-month tour at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on August 31. Needless to say, the news of Janet Jackson performing has caused mild euphoria among fans, pushing the prices of tickets sky high. As per the sales on TicketNetwork.com, Jackson’s most popular show as of right now is Inglewood, California, where tickets are averaging $190. Janet Jackson’s personal label, Rhythm Nation, is set to release her new album this fall and it’ss highly likely she will entertain the audience with some of the new compositions, including old favorites like “All For You”. According to Entertainment Tonight , the upcoming record will be about “the human spirit, love, marriage, Janet’s precious family and her fans.”

The 49-year-old hasn’t performed in front of a live audience since 2011’s Number Ones, Up Close and Personal World Tour. In fact, ever since the sudden, untimely death of her brother and “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson hasn’t released a single album. Hence, this tour could become an emotional roller-coaster ride for Janet as well as her fans as they jointly remember Michael. Additionally, her last tour focused solely on her greatest hits. Hence the promise of fresh compositions , have her fans trembling with excitement .
