James Franco is reportedly dating Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson, according to the NY Post’s Page Six .
The two fueled early dating-speculation when they appeared together in New York City earlier this month, and our suspicions were confirmed when they were spotted holding hands at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.
The 34-year-old 127 Hours star reportedly met 22-year-old Benson on the set of Spring Breakers , which shot earlier this year in Florida with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.
“They have been seeing each other for a little over a month, but things are going well,” a source said of the couple.
James Franco has been extremely busy lately, both as a student and with the development of several creative projects, including a music debut . His love life has seemingly been on hold since he broke up with actor and girlfriend of five years Ahna O’Reilly in summer 2011. They reportedly split up because she was frustrated with the amount of time he dedicated to his studies all across the country.
Prior to dating O’Reilly, Franco was linked romantically with actress Marla Sokoloff, whom he met on the set of Whatever It Takes. They dated from 1999 to 2004.
Benson previously dated “swagger coach” Ryan Good, but the relationship apparently fizzled out this past summer with Benson seen spending time with Liars co-star Keegan Allen.
Franco’s next major role is Sam Raimi’s Oz: The Great and Powerful , a prequel to 1939’s musical classic The Wizard of Oz . Benson’s Pretty Little Liars was recently renewed for a fourth season by ABC Family.
