Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid are so madly in love that they couldn’t wait to move in together. That’s what Ed Sheeran said, anyway.
Although the couple have remained fairly tight-lipped about their relationship, Courteney Cox fans have snagged a few slices of juicy gossip about the romance from insiders and anonymous sources. Surprisingly, Sheeran has probably provided more info about Cox and McDaid than anybody else.
During a chat with The Mirror at a recent event in London, Ed explained that Courteney Cox and her main squeeze recently moved in together. Since the couple has yet to officially announce the situation to the public, chances are they weren’t ready for this tidbit of celebrity “news” to make headlines.
“I’m not sure that it’s public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn’t have said anything — but, yes, they’re already living together. Things are moving fast. He moved in and, judging by the last time I saw them, they couldn’t be happier. They get on really well and are genuinely good friends, pardon the pun,” the I See Fire singer explained.
Sheeran also addressed rumors of wedding bells between Cox and McDaid. He added, “I wouldn’t be surprised but it’s still early days. They certainly enjoy each other’s company and feel very comfortable with each other.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Sheeran has dished on Courteney Cox’s relationship with the Snow Patrol guitarist. The Inquisitr reported last December that the singer dished on the romance shortly after the relationship started making the rounds online.
“I wasn’t allowed to talk about this, actually, but it’s just gone public. My housemate [Johnny McDaid], who I have lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney and they started dating. Now, they’re crazy about each other,” he said.
According to Us Weekly , Cox took a moment during her conversation with Wendy Williams to discuss life with the musician. In short: The former Friends star is completely smitten with the guy.
“He’s amazing. Great guy. We’ve gone out to dinner a few times. My whole thing is that, he’s a great man and to have someone kind, that you trust around your kid is the most important part,” Courteney explained.
Although Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are living together in the actress’ Malibu mansion, nobody seems to know for sure if the couple plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon. As soon as someone has any info on the matter, chances are the world will hear about it.
