Some choose a bold bleached blonde, nearly platinum color on one half of their hair, with a shocking brunette or black look on the other half.
Other photos show a more subtle rendering of the half-and-half hair look, with a dark brown paired with a deep purple color. And there are the playful pastel colors in lavender or pink and other hues in the split-dyed photos.

Nevertheless, plenty of fashion publications are asking if the half-and-half hair color trend will last, reports Elle . Others ask their readers if they are bold enough to wear the artistic style of dying one half of your hair a completely different color than the other. As beauty trends go, the split-dyed look will no doubt be one that is looked back upon with either fond memories of creative expression or a shake of the head along with questions about what the wearers were thinking.
