Giuliana Rancic is airing her dirty laundry in a tell-all book and claims her ex, Jerry O’Connell cheated on her with one of the Spice Girls.
According to the Fashion Police host , the break up wasn’t pretty and O’Connell wasn’t a gentleman when he broke up with her. Rancic’s new book it titled Going Off Script: How I Survived a Crazy Childhood, Cancer, and Clooney’s 32 On-Screen Rejections , is a candid look at the Italian-born celebrity’s eventful life.
Giuliana Rancic and her ex, Sliders’ Jerry O’Connell dated in the early 2000, way before the TV personality became famous by hosting red carpets for E! and the picture she paints of him is not flattering. Page Six published a few quotes from her book this past weekend, in which Giuliana says Jerry cheated on her with Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice.
Rancic and ex O’Connell met at the W Hotel in San Diego and began dating shortly thereafter, but the romance was short-lived and Giuliana blames it all on her former beau’s less than faithful ways.
“I was being two-timed for one of the lesser Spices?” Rancic claims and says that when she confronted O’Connell he calmly told her, “‘Yeah, I know. I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened.’ He had as much emotion as the customer-service representative who tells you your bags missed the flight.”
He convinced her to get back together and they even talked about getting married, but that only lasted until the Maxim’s 100 Hottest Women party in 2004, when Giuliana Rancic realized her ex was cheating again, after meeting model and X-Men actress Rebecca Romijn.

The following week O’Connell left for Las Vegas without an explanation and stopped answering Rancic’s messages. When she finally confronted him, he was not very apologetic.
“Nope. Sorry, homegirl,” her ex coldly told her and ended the relationship saying, “Things change, but you take care, OK?”
In September 2007, Giuliana Rancic married Bill Rancic, with whom she shares a son, Edward Duke, 2. As far as her cheating ex is concerned he also ended up marrying Romijn and has six-year-old twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie.
Obviously things happen for a reason and despite the heartbreak at the time, Giuliana Rancic is now happily married, even though she is not able to conceive, an issue she has chronicled in the reality TV show she hosts with her husband, Giuliana and Bill .
