‘Ghost’ Breaks Into Liquor Store In Search Of Some ‘Spirits’ [Viral Video]

Anniston, AL – Police are on the lookout for a ghost who broke into a liquor store in search of some “spirits.” Bad pun, I know, but it was right there , man.

Video of the ghost robbery (above) has been going viral this week. Police, naturally, were stunned.

“We received an alarm call at the ABC store on Highway 431 Wednesday morning,” Sgt. Chris Sparks of the Anniston Police Department told Q13FOX . “That’s when the moment happened; I guess we’ll call it.”

As you can see from the footage supplied above, a man dressed in a white sheet with eye-holes poked through runs back and forth down the aisles of the store and storage rooms like a raptor ninja. He does stop to adjust his spectral sheet at one point.

Though police were initially called down on a break-in and burglary report, it seems as though this “ghost” wasn’t interested in anything more than screwing around.

“Probably a practical joke, Halloween,” Doug Conner, a customer, told the news outlet. “People ain’t got much to do, so they just get out and party. He was probably high.”

Sparks didn’t see much humor in it, either.

“He didn’t prepare himself very well,” he said of the perp. “He thought about all the things. He wore gloves, he put something over his head, but he couldn’t manage to keep it straight the whole time.”

Authorities aren’t even sure whether the ghost-man was trying to actually steal anything (he didn’t, for the record). Still, they’re investigating another robbery that they believe was staged by the same guy .

“There was an attempted burglary in South Gadsden at a bar,” Sparks said. “It’s probably the same suspect. He was wearing the same attire.”

He’ll face third-degree burglary charges if he’s ever caught.

“It ain’t a game. It’s serious,” Conner fumed.

Come on, man! I’ve got another pun about the ghost and a boooooooze run! Or float.
