The cast of Game Of Thrones have lavished praise upon the new series of the show, which is set to air over the weekend.

At an event held in London, England, various stars of the show attended the premiere of the upcoming third series.

Charles Dance who plays Tywin Lannister joined Gwendoline Christie, Michelle Fairley, and Isaac Hempstead-Wright who play Brienne Of Tarth, Catelyn Stark, and Bran Stark respectively, and they each took part in a Q&A after the screening where they discussed the show.

“I think it starts with the quality of the writing, the amount of money HBO are prepared to spend on it, and dare I say a pretty wonderful cast,” remarked Dance.

He then added, “They’re phenomenal writers. We spend a lot of time as actors trying to make a silk purse out of a pig’s ear because not all scripts are as good as Game of Thrones . You don’t have to waste time doing that on this show.”

Christie also praised the scribes of the show, proclaiming, “It’s a really interesting insight into lots of different facets of the human psyche.”

Dance went on to state,”You can put all your energy into trying to make the character believable, just thinking about that rather than thinking about ‘how can I make this bloddy awful line work,’ because they give us really good lines.”

The actor also noted his appreciation for Peter Dinklage, who plays his on-screen son. “I spend a lot of my time with Peter Dinklage and he’s the most adorable man, a wonderful actor. After all those scenes, I apologise to him every time. I have to treat him like s***. You’ve only seen a little snippet of the awfulness in episode one,” added the English thespian.

Game of Thrones is set to premiere on HBO on Sunday March 31. Are you excited for its return?
