The world of comic book movies has grown absolutely huge in the past few years, but it is nowhere near the peak of its glory. Avengers: Age of Ultron is still making money at the box office, but fans are already looking ahead at what’s to come. Here is the complete and current comic book movie schedule for both DC Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) through 2020.

The world is looking forward to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War , but there is so much more coming. Some people seem to forget that Deadpool is right around the corner and so is the X-Men spinoff movie for Gambit — once it finds a director.

Below is the full schedule of every single major comic book movie that will be coming out through the rest of this year and through 2020. More may be added and release dates are always subject to change, but this is the current way things are in place.

2019

April 5: Shazam May 3: Avengers: Infinity War, Part 2 June 14: Justice League, Part 2 July 12: Inhumans

2020

April 3: Cyborg June 19: Green Lantern

Back in October, Warner Bros. released their upcoming slate of movies and there are some other films on the schedule, but comic book films dominate it. The Harry Potter spinoff will have three films (2016, 2018, 2020), but other than that, it’s mostly comic book movies.

Marvel is right in the middle of their phase of films and are working everything together to intertwine the giant Marvel Cinematic Universe . They’re doing an excellent job of it as well, and even more so now that they have the rights to have Spider-Man appear in Civil War .

So many comic book movies are coming, and this schedule gives fans a chance to enjoy them without having to wait very long between each one. For those that are fans of both Marvel and DC Comics, they will get the best of both worlds and a lot more fun.
