Elon Musk‘s tenure with DOGE ended roughly after five months. His role was to reduce federal spending as the head. As his role was coming to an end in May, he stepped down a few days early. This is when his online meltdown started, accusing Trump of being in the Epstein files or not being financially equipped for new projects. Now, the news comes that Elon Musk will have a new American Party to give people’s freedom back. He plans on running for the 2026 mid-term elections when asked about the party on X.
Errol Musk, Elon’s dad has a warning for him–he should not be getting into politics considering his nature and how political life is. Errol called Elon a straightforward person and not complicated. Then he goes on to explain his doubt on Elon and his political career. but he isn’t a very good conversationalist and not a very good politician. Whether Elon would like it or not Errol always has some opinions and advice for him.
Earlier, when Elon was feuding with Trump over his new bill after his role as DOGE’s head ended, Errol had suggested that Elon apologise to him. Moreover, he sided with Trump as he was the one elected by the people, and he has the right experience. Musk, on the other hand, does not have that and would not know what to do in political situations. According to Senior Musk, politics requires leaders to keep people in power happy. That’s what Trump has been doing, and he thinks Elon isn’t capable of that.

Errol often criticizes his tech billionaire son publically. maybe he means well and wants Elon to stay away from politic’s dirty game. However, the two have been estranged since 2017 when Elon called him a terrible human being. He said how his dad plans evil all the time. He compared politics to a swimming pool with no bottom. There are no sides and no edges, no matter what direction you go.
Not just his political career, but Elon’s personal life is also under attack at times. Errol called him out on not being a good dad while questioning his parenting skills. Errol added that Elon expects everyone to be a student, and he does not have the gift to be a good parent.
He revealed this on a podcast but later tried to justify himself. He concluded that his comments have been taken out of context. Moreover, he claimed the two are on good terms. In some way, Elon might take Errol’s warning with a pinch of salt.

When Errol advised him to apologise to Trump, he did not directly do that, but posted that he had gone too far with his allegations. So maybe this time also, Errol is just trying to warn him not to bite more than he can chew.
