Dwayne Johnson’s WrestleMania 30 appearance had him assuming his WWE The Rock persona once again…and it is happening NOW!
Within less than fifteen minutes, after a surprise appearance from Stone Cold Steve Austin interrupting Hulk Hogan (respectfully), The Rock made an appearance to such a huge pop from the crowd. The Rock then electrified the crowd by going down memory lane, explaining the accomplishments of both Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin, he then he showed his respect for the current and upcoming talent, which includes John Cena and Daniel Bryan. After showing love for the the WWE Universe, all three of them held a toast of beers Stone Cold-style.
In a related report by The Inquisitr , when UFC fighter Ronda Rousey compared Dwayne versus CM Punk she claimed she would love a big hunk of that Rock. Of course, when Rousey met Philip Brooks in person she fangasmed all over Punk .
Dwayne headlined the last two WrestleMania events with John Cena, with last year’s bout being for the WWE title, a match in which the Rock passed the the belt to Cena. For this year, Vince McMahon had once planned a Rock VS Brock Lesnar match for WrestleMania 30. But the matchup that everyone really wanted was The Undertaker VS Dwayne Johnson and The Rock felt some pressure to schedule the match for WM 30. Unfortunately, another type of pressure entirely tore a quad muscle during a fight with John Cena, and this accident threatened even the filming of Dwayne’s various movie project. After the Rock’s injury the major WrestleMania 30 plans were said to be canceled, although Dwayne did tweet out that it’s possible we may see such ideas return for WrestleMania 31:

[UPDATE] Unfortunately, The Rock only showed up for the intro. Although we knew he’d be injured in the past I guess Dwayne Johnson the actor now comes first since he probably could not risk interrupting Hercules or Fast and Furious 7 .
